Whether I'm on a walk in the forest or just out in my yard, I love exploring nature!

My fascination with the natural world began as a young child. I can vividly remember spending hours exploring tide pools along the beach while on summer vacations and digging through the soil in my backyard to see what interesting creatures I could find. The wonders of the natural world amazed me, and I always wanted to discover and learn more! When the time came to decide what to study in college, I focused my studies in the areas of ecology, conservation, and environmental issues - all subjects that are very near and dear to my heart.

It wasn't until just over the last few years that I really discovered a huge passion for nature photography. When I'm outside with my camera in hand, I can easily lose track of time admiring, observing, and taking pictures of the beauty, wonder, and serenity of the natural world that surrounds me.
